The house on a cul de sac in Santa Fe is on a wedge-shaped lot. The house is comprised of four masses that mirror the functions inside. The interior has a sculptural quality but uses natural materials such as concrete and wood. A continuous ceiling provides a feeling of spaciousness while lower elements define different areas and functions.
Regional elements – wood ceilings, inset windows, stucco exterior, concrete floors – are used in a modern way with natural light to create a warm yet contemporary interpretation of Santa Fe Style.
